IMPORTANCE OF TRADEMARK SEARCH<\/strong><\/p>\n

All businesses should plan a strategy to protect their intellectual rights. But in the current world no one is giving much importance to all such practices, including trade mark search and trade mark registration processes<\/strong>, as they are busy with improving the business. There is other group who are not aware of the importance of trade mark search and registration<\/strong><\/a>, as they are not getting an expert advice.-<\/p>\n

A lady was running a burger store. Her burgers become very famous that people from distant places started marching to her shop. She makes burgers of different flavors. Her burgers popularity started increasing in such a way that she came to known as \u201cQueen of burgers\u201d in the region. Whenever she communicates with customers she will emphasize the \u201cQueen of burgers\u201d concept. Hearing the \u201cQueen of burgers\u201d name everyone started remembering her. Unfortunately the \u201cQueen of burgers\u201d name was used by another burger man and has registered it. As a small scale business woman she didn\u2019t give much importance to trade mark search and registration. The registered owner takes the matter to the court. The court has ordered the burger woman to pay a hefty amount as compensation for misusing the brand name. Not only had that she had to pay the full court fees. After that she had to find a new name for her burgers and register it. A new name to an already established business was not an easy task. The brand name that has been stamped deep inside the clients has to be replaced with the new one. She struggled a lot to for developing a new brand name. All these happened as she was told by her fellow business people not to spend much on brand names and registration. Wrong way of advice from them made her to spend a lot than she expected. It is better to seek an expert advice on such matters. By spending less you can register a brand name. Using brand names of others will put you into big troubles.<\/p>\n
